Job Description
The Company’s Finance function strives to provide outstanding service to the Firm’s partners, clients and others within the Firm; therefore, the candidate must be very flexible and highly committed to quality, customer service, teamwork and supporting Firm and department goals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
· Technical development and implementation of web based applications and analytical solutions using the following tools: Microsoft .Net technologies, SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS.
· Creating ad-hoc financial reports using MS SQL and other analysis tools.
· Seeking ways to improve current processes to maximize productivity, efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of financial reporting.
· Providing system maintenance, administration and problem resolution for the financial systems environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
· The ideal candidate must have a functional understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling and design.
· The ideal candidate must be able to take ownership of issues and go the extra step to proactively seek out answers that may fall out of his/her area of expertise.
· Must possess excellent critical thinking and problem solving ability.
· Must understand and be able to adhere to basic business relationship and confidentiality principles.
· The candidate must be able to demonstrate flexibility as workload fluctuates.
· The candidate must have strong prioritization and organization skills to ensure deadlines are met.
· The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of business processes.
EXPERIENCE
· 4+ years as a developer or programmer/analyst is preferred.
· Experience working with .NET, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server, including SSIS and SSRS, is required.
· Demonstrated experience with either C# or VB.NET is required.
· Familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
